Swapire’s aim is to provide an accessible web experience
In creating of Swapire, we have made every effort to ensure that the site is accessible in browsers other than Microsoft’s Internet Explorer and for those users who have disabilities. Our goal is to make the site as much assessable as possible to as many users possible be they using just text browsers, graphical or enhanced browsers or assistive technologies to browse the internet. Regardless of what they use to check out Swapire, they are customers so we take every opportunity to use the existing technologies to serve the needs of most of the targeted users.
We hope Swapire represents to comply with many aspects of the current accessibility standards defined by Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act.

Adjusting the page text size
You can adjust the size of the text on this website by using the font size setting found in your browsers. If you frequently adjust the text size, you know how to adjust the size to your needs. But for those who are new to using internet and browsers, they can find the text adjusting options in the View menu of most browsers. After hitting on View, choose Text Size and choose (or adjust) the text size as desired.
Alternative text
We realize the importance of alternative text to screen readers and other web technologies. This is why we have provided alternative text attributes to our images – when used for non-decorative purposes. The alternative text conveys you the meaning or description of image.
Website colors
We have chosen colors that offer good contrast to making it easier to read and help those who color impaired.
Design considerations
For layout, we have not used tables as we know use of HTML tables is a poor choice for that purpose. Instead we opted for the standard style sheet elements to achieve our layout requirements. We do use tables when appropriate but only for showing tabular data (information nicely fitting into columns and rows as you see normally in Excel).
